Welcome to the site

Hi and welcome. If you are visiting for the first time no doubt it’s because you are interested in the naturist life style, you have stumbled across the site whilst looking for something else, or you were looking for porn. If you are in the latter category this is not the site for you so please leave the room. If you stumbled across the site, well welcome, have a look you just might find it interesting and we might entice you to a new life-style.

If you are a genuine naturist or some-one who might be attracted to our way of life please come in and have a look around. Please join in our community and make it even more vibrant.

If you are a naturist you may well skip over what is written below but if you are curious and wandering what it’s all about, read on.

The Cambridge dictionary defines naturism as,  a nudist (= a person  who sometimes wears no clothes because they like to be naked) British Naturism (BN) just says .. the practice of going without clothes.

Why do it? In simple terms, because it feels comfortable to do so. I’ll illustrate with my own experience. I first went naked as a teenager, swimming in the river. It was more of a dare then but the memory stayed with me. Later I remember sneaking into a local open air lido and swimming in the night and although a bit of a dare the sense of swimming without that cossie was wonderful. Shortly after my daughter was born we found a secluded beach and I had the first real opportunity to try it out. No clinging cossie in the water and even better no wet damp cloth round me afterwards. The gentle breeze and warm over all my body, no sense of being all wrapped up, in a word freedom. I remember how important that beach became and I’d dream of walking along the shore without clothes. A holiday in France came a few years later and a river side with other people about. I started by lying naked and then taking the decision to take a walk without those trunks. I got up, walked, and guess what, nothing happened except I’d gone from point A to point B. No cheers or laughter from others on the riverside and no bolt of lightning either.

I’m typical of many naturist men insomuch as my wife is less enthusiastic than I am. I never force but I do encourage her. She first went au natural at a hot springs clothing optional location in the states. It was just the natural thing to do. The following year she baulked at going to a large naturist camp site but accepted and loved a couple of naturist gites. We’ve camped at a couple of different naturist campsites since and she’s loved that too. She’s found that naturists are such a friendly lot and welcome you into their midst. I belong to a swim. That’s not for her and that’s fair enough but, to my surprise and delight she has said we ought to look for a local landed club to join. As I said to her it’s somewhere we can go on holiday for the day or perhaps longer, if we choose.

My only regret is I should have joined a club sooner. That might not be for you. Perhaps the beach is more your scene, or walking in wild places. Whatever is for you I hope you may find something that interests you here? I’ll not bore you with naturist etiquette now or tackle the erection or period questions, just look at other sites for
that and in any case it’s only acting in a respectable way towards others.  We’ll look forward to you joining our life-style.
